Our Story

It all started with the experience of tasting perfectly roasted coffee, the care and craft used to deliver the perfect cup. Spending a decade in the customer server industry serving delightful vibrant roasts to thousands of satisfied customers. For a dedicated barista nothing brings the same satisfaction as getting into the roots of the coffee industry and sharing that passion with the community.

Spending all those years experiencing all facets the coffee industry had to offer. Barista Competitions, participating and training the next generation of champions. Crafting and creating new beverages with unique tastes and profiles. Visiting roasteries and delving into the process of cultivation, to green bean, and finally ground and sent home to coffee lovers of the community. The learning never stopped and the love of craft only grew.

With shifting winds came the change of industry. The strive for quality was traded for the quantity of production. Standards on a fast decline… Faster product, cheaper ingredients. A growing frustration was born.

Coffee is a culture, to the majority of people its a large part of every day life. Effecting nearly every part of the globe, it’s up to us to preserve the rich history and do it justice.

With a determination to make that true, enter Beans and Bros. Tired of slipping standards and the love of money over love of craft we set out to be the change we want to see. Working with roasters that share our views we are able to provide some of the best roasts that Montana has to offer. We put in the same effort as everyone else involved in the production chain.

Every Saturday at the Missoula Farmers’ Market we are honored to highlight the hard work that everyone put in to provide such a beautiful product. No corners cut and if it isn’t perfect we wont serve it.
